WOT website gets recognition

Commandshift3 does the same for websites as Facebook’s HOT or NOT application does for people. It shows two websites side by side, and the visitor can vote for the one he or she thinks looks better. So it’s purely a beauty contest where the design of the site counts. The new MyWOT website has done pretty well in this competition: it is ranked among the top 2% of sites and it has won 75% of its battles. Talking about websites, I would like to encourage all WOT community members to share your ideas on how you would like us to develop the website further -and I am not only taking about the design but also the functionality. If we have missed something, let us know.

When I download WOT for IE7, it creates another line all by itself on about the third line of my browser. I move it but next time I use IE7, it seems to want to float back to its own line.
I think it would be great if i could place it on the menu text line with "File" etc or perhaps better yet like Siteadvisor in the status bar at the bottom out of the way.

You have a great idea here. Bluefrog tried to do it with email and got killed. Siteadvisor is good but is run by one company and is not as responsive as it used to be.

So keep up the great work!

WOT leaves the positioning of the toolbar to IE, so if it keeps moving around, it's probably either the browser or another toolbar causing the problem. You should be able to stop this by locking the toolbars: right click on the IE toolbar and select "Lock the Toolbars" from the menu.

Oh, and you can move WOT next to the menu bar too if you want. Just grab the toolbar handle and drag it to another location.
