hello ragsoft,if you click on the red circle were the site is but not the site itself it should give you something more specific.usualy a site with a red circle indicates harmful content such as malware, viruses or harmful content and i usualy keep well clear myself.
Trustsoft markets a variety of programs whose common theme is privacy protection. In June 2005, Trustsoft was prosecuted by FTC for a range of unfair and deceptive practices related to the company's earlier anti-spyware product, SpyKiller 2005. In addition, they have been criticized by Spywarewarrior.com for deceptive advertising and false positive results working as goad to purchase.
Thank YOo
I had some trouble getting response from trustsoft. Historykill is bundled with historyaudit, which displays thumbs files of forgotten and deleted pictuures. I was then prompted to start historykill to delete, but was sent back to webstore again to buy historykill even though i already bought and installed historykill program.
Is there another programs trhat displays the thumbs files?
This seems very suspicious to me. What you say doesn't imply that the program is fraud, but anyway I would never buy software that some people say that bogus. I prefer using free, more preferably open source software (yes, I use Linux ;) ): they have no reason to be malicious (and OS also doesn't have the ability if well maintained), or use well known and trusted software, if you really need.
For secure file deletion tools, look around here: http://www.thefreecountry.com/security/securedelete.shtml.
For finding thumbnails: dunno, google it. And use the term "freeware" instead of "free" because the latter is often misused by rogue software.
