My site has gotten a bad rating for revenge, how do I fix this?
Thu Oct 29 22:31:19 2009 – Susan34994I have a large following on Yahoo Answers and over the years of some of Answers regulars don't like me and I think one of them gave my site a bad rating just to be an ass.?
Ive had a few friends give good ratings but I still have a red fruit loop?
How can 1 vote over power all the rest?
He didn't even give a comment stating why he gave it a bad rating?
The irony is I posted on my site an article on how good WOT is and recommended everyone get it and WOT turns around and bites me in the ass with this BS rating!
Please help me fix this error!

Ratings are private, so there's no way of knowing how many users have rated your site. Still, no matter how much it may seem like there's a conspiracy against your site, experience has shown that it's pretty uncommon for someone to rate sites poorly for revenge.
How can 1 vote over power all the rest?
We don't care only about the number of ratings, but also their reliability. The reputation system is meritocratic, which means that users need to earn the system's trust before they are considered trustworthy. Otherwise, someone might just create several accounts in a silly attempt to manipulate the reputations.

Did these friends use your computer when they rated the site?

Fri Oct 30 01:42:36 2009 – evilfantasyYou appear to have, or had, multiple accounts on Yahoo and are answering topics with the same link(s) to your blog with a fix that may or may not work. I say had because it looks like some have been deleted or been banned, probably for spamming. Spamming is most likely why your blog got the red rating and I've updated my WOT rating to reflect the spamming.
Looks like you also have multiple Blogger blogs and are posting content then replying to yourself, which is what spammers do.
Are you also creating questions on Yahoo so you can answer with a link tou your site?

I pointed out that his link 'malwareexcorcism.com' has a negative rating from WOT in one of the questions in Yahoo Answers. I reported Death to Yahoo Answers and they removed his answer with the link too.
I then received an email from Gene masquerading as Legion (he has a sense of humour eh? "My name is Legion, for we are many")
From: Legion
Subject: Whats your problem!
Message: There is nothing wrong with my site!
Wot is full of crap!
You ought to check a site out yourself before you start posting crap about it!
I then reported him and they also removed the answer of Legion because he inserted a rant that I got Death reported in his answer (not a smart move if you ask me) He then reported me to Yahoo in a revenge attack and my answer was removed too. I appealed and they re-instated my answer again.
