You are supposed to be rating sites and not rating people!
Ratings sites because somebody chooses to spam a forum is not a good basis for the ratings. Suppose somebody were to spam the forum by promoting sites that are innocent and actually nothing to do with the spamming, you would be guilty of branding that site as spamming when that site was not responsible for the spam.
If a member is spamming a forum then the moderators should act to remove such postings and WOT Admin should first warn the member and then ban the member. The site is not responsible for the lack of action by the moderators.
I now call upon the moderators to get with the programme and remove this thread because it is causing a lot of sites to be rated for the wrong reasons.

Spamming is not performed by community members/volunteers bcoz they don't have enough time to waste, these are SPAMMERS !
So kindly clear your doubts about volunteers and spammers.
Any website owner comes to ask for a refinement then he can post in forum.
We haven't banned him for access Wot.The site is not responsible for the lack of action by the moderators.

This is spam
The user posts are removed [from view]
the user account is banned.The owner of XYZ-example.com is not the banned user, nor do they have any idea their domain was spammed in a forum.
This is why I do not "rate red for forum spamming"
Instead I visit the site.
If the site is a counterfeit store or electronics store, I dig more domains from the [normally] shared IP or from the cnet 127.0.0 <= cnet block

As for: plagiarismchecker.com
That site was developed back in 2006 and hasn't changed since
It basically check Google or Yahoo! for text or URL's to see if anyone else has copied "your" work.The domain was brought up in an old discussion on plagiarism a few years ago - I don't recall who mentioned it, or which thread.
Site's fine and checking google for backlinks... there's not many - it's not promoting itself through blog/forum spam.

If I'm not mistaken the plagiarismchecker.com spammer was actually using http.com as the main URL. plagiarismchecker.com was just added as bait.

It's easy and quick to blindly rated "spamvertised domains" referenced in the forum, but many are missed and some do not exist, while others may be victims. Domains should be reviewed and those found incorrectly labeled should be announced as such - every domain deserves an unbiased rating.
