What sites do you rate?

Lets talk what sites do you rate what categories you like to stamp sites on and why...
I'll start, I like to rate bad websites, usually Spyware/Adware, Malicious Content/Viruses and Fraud/Phishing/Scams, and sometimes Browser Exploits. What I don't rate much: Green websites, Spam and Popups/Ads. Why: To help WOT users stay careful about the web. I dislike rating sites green because so far, there is SO many green sites to rate, its hard to keep track, there are so much SPAM websites where I also dislike rating which Spam is not TOO much of a big threat, Popups/Ads is a small nuisance that can be solved by using NoScript or Adblock Plus.
Lets start yours, post comments of what kind of sites and categories you like to stamp on sites and why:

Sites worth rating.

Spammers !

Spammers who obfuscate headers and contents are usually criminals
who are after credit-card and bank details.

By definition, as I understand spam laws, obfuscation can be classed as criminal in its own right.

Spam is the broad group that includes all email-based phishing and scams.
It also includes the 'have you seen this' redirectors to viruses & trojans.
It is used to advertise rogue antispyware & rogue antivirus programs.

It is used to sell fake degrees by telephone:

http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-781-634-7970

It is used to mess with stock-exchange prices:

If everybody who received a spam email were to forward it to spam@uce.gov
and tag its source site as bad in WOT, then we would be making a difference.

Rating Sites

I only really rate sites I use, as I know a lot about them. Meaning, I normally only rate sites between Good- Excellent. I would rate bad sites, but I'm scared of going on them, even if I have WOT which blocks them, NoScript, Ad-Block Plus, a Mac computer with NAV 11.0, and a Mac firewall turned on.

I wish there was some way I could rate them without actually going on them.

Wow!

They just added the "Add/Edit Rating" thing to the pages!

Rating without going on sites.

Here's an example:

http://bbc.co.uk

You can add a rating in one category by doing this:

1 ... bring up any WOT page, say from your home page.

2 ... at the top right 'Check the reputation rating' box, enter the domain name,
that is, the URL without the http:// and without any /xyz parts
in this case - bbc.co.uk

3 ... add a comment and a category e.g. "This was reported as a bad site by ExtremeAntiWestBlokesdotthingy"

Seriously:
It is very important to state where your information comes from,
especially if you are reporting a site as bad.

e.g. This site was stated to be a rogue anti-virus distribution site by:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

Job Done !

Comments affect their ratings and yours.
