    Rogue Software Sites Offline?

    Is it just me or some Rogue Software/Fake Codec distribution sites are currently offline?

    Retired.

    Rogue sites off line.

    That's exactly how we like them. ;-)

    They get reported fairly fast.

    People who have up-to-date hosts files, or other malware blockers will simply not see these sites, or will be warned off.

    It should be noted that these sites go up and down like a yoyo, so whilst they may be down one day, it's normally guaranteed they'll be back online within 2-3 days or so (it's rare that they stay down).

    Yea...

    Well, just incase, I have rated some of them Malicious, but to not cause confusion or false positives, I have sent a mail to the MyWOT staff and told them that some sites that I have rated Malicious is in Offline.

    For the good though, I hope they stay offline for the safety of everyone.
