when you type gomccain.com, you are taken to sedoparking.com with a list of results from news coverage sites. I read the comments and found that sedoparking is not very good when it comes to vendor reliability, but it doesn't have viruses...
sedoparking.com is a sore point with me. All too often I see a Google search result that takes me AWAY from the thing I'm really searching for and tries to sell me a domain name. Sedoparking is just one of many outfits that do this.
It's called search-engine optimisation - SEO. If a domain for sale is bumped-up in Google search, it appears to have a higher value, so is easier to sell. 'Parking' is a term used for holding domain names so that they don't expire, in the hope of selling them. Commonly, parked domain names are mis-spellings of the names of genuine good sites. These mis-spelled sites are known as 'typo-squats'.
In my personal opinion, sedoparking is a typo-squat parking SEO scammer.
