RE: android’s built in browser & wot ( or alternatives ) suppo
Thats a shame, I could name hundreds of people who would use WOT on their Android smartphone or tablet.
Safe browsing is safe browsing, whatever device is used to do it.....
I have used WOT for many years and rely on its quick glance usability and 99.9% accuracy in reporting bad links.
To have this on my Android would be more useful than on a PC, as mobile browsing is a much quicker process, by design and desire.... -

RE: android’s built in browser & wot ( or alternatives ) suppo
Mobile browsing has exploded in popularity within the last year due to the huge increase in sales of smart phones and tablets. It would be a big mistake not to expand WOT to Android and iOS.

There is a version of Firefox for Android (and i-phone) available from here and the forthcoming Firefox Aurora looks promising.

I agree especially with the Android OS which has more problems with viral apps than iOS does we need WOT for Mobil devices ASAP because there's an ever increasing rate of exploits/infections on Mobil devices so its time to sound the alarms. Consider this an SOS from everyone who has a Mobil device please start working this as soon as humanly possible.

Actually there is a solution for Android users - Dolphin Browser has an addon "Companion" with WOT's reputation check functionality.
Native android browser (and Chrome Beta for Adnroid too) doesn't have an addon's feature at all. The same is for IOS browsers.
Lets wait for mobile browsers' improvement.
Probably, Firefox might be the first one.

Opera doesn't seem to continue the development of extensions support in the Opera Mobile. Almost a year gone from the last announcement - nothing happened since that time with the browser.

RE: android’s built in browser & wot ( or alternatives ) suppo
it's very necessary

android’s built in browser & wot ( or alternatives ) support now/in the future?
Hi,
I love wot and I use my androids built in web browser to surf the Internet. I was wondering if there will be support for Android’s webbrowser in the future or if there's already someone providing a like service. I know I can always go to wot’s (this) website and enter the URL manually but I also miss the automation that I get from my PC's Firefox webbrowser.
Thanks
