    Flower sellers

    Just got WOT and tried it out by googling flowers. First two finds were Marks and Spencer and Interflora, both rated red by WOT!

    Why would this be? It doesn't inspire confidence in the reliability of the rating.

    Were the links you saw ads by any chance?

    If they were, the links were probably going to a third-party tracking service, which then redirects you to the actual site. Many of these tracking services have a poor rating, especially in privacy.

    I'm not sure which sites you specifically meant, but these two at least are all green:

    Next time you see a red rating on search results, remember that you can click the rating symbol or the pop-up to open the scorecard for the target site.
