   Maybe is more one in the ocean.
   The reason to exists, i think that is the google ads (that helps alot).
   If is a serious servive to be continued, we will see in future, case they would be able to work without the helping adsense ads.
   A good service is always a service that we fight and work to make it live, not a comercial reason...

   This one collect data from every people without membership, not bad, but risky....

   Checking http://whois.domaintools.com/isthewebsafe.com I see that - at least - the WhoIs isn't private, making it more trustworthy than similar sites like - for example - http://whois.domaintools.com/webutation.org that has been around for a longer time.

   Shows "trust" ratings for sites based on SafeBrowsing and Alexa ranking, even when a site has been queried with no user input, you'll see between a 3/5 to 5/5 based on "popularity"

   If you enter example.com, you'll see it's a "safe site" and "very popular" (5/5)
   However, if you enter example.org, you'll see it's not suitable for children, and the "global safety" is "not safe" (4/5) - screen capture
   I'm not sure how popular example.org is... it's a reserved domain, see RFC 2606
   and redirects back to: http://www.iana.org/domains/example/

   If you enter a non-existent domain, or one which is available to register (expired) it does not return a reputation; try: stopcontenttheft.com (expired: 26JAN2012), or make up a domain such as: a1b2c3d4e5f6.com

   Hi guys, i'm ITWS and Safe-browsing webmaster...

   Fisrt, i would like to say thanks for your great advices, i'll make sure to fully consider your comments !!

   I also wanted to add that i will make sure to work my best on those sites, and can assure you i'll do my best to stay focus on my work and "fight to make them live"...

   I also wanted to explain why there is 2 versions of them, it's cause as you can see, i'm steel working on beta version's, and hope to launch many new features in the future and will try different approach depending on which site, to see what is best for a safety app and its users...

   As you can see g7w, it might not work well for redirected domain or interface domain yet (when there is nothing on the main page), and i prefer to ignore expired domain for now, until i improve the safety report page... But i can promess, i'll work on it very soon !!

   What's worse, they say the addon logs the URLs you type! And just look at the possible domain name variations:
