    wot isn't working with new mozilla

    I've updated mozilla with a new version and my WOT isn't working. When I open a toolbar icon it says" initializing WOT...", but never opens.
    Please help !

    Which version are you using? I noticed something is broken in the latest nightly builds (13.0a1), which is causing XMLHttpRequests to time out when the browser starts.

    I have noticed that the upgrade to Firefox version 10 is causing an issue with site blocking instead of warning. With the earlier versions of FF I could rate a site into the deep red and WOT would show the warning screen if I revisited that site but FF 10 won't show the warning screen but blocks the site instead. As far as I can make out, this is not an issue with the WOT addon settings, which I do not set to block.

    I've gone back to version 9.01 for the time being, and I would suggest that the OP does likewise.

    Actually, version 10 works fine. Create a new Firefox profile if there's a problem. Jazspeak, just turn off blocking from the warning settings.

    Tried this and it works. Thanks. Only thing I would add is that if you create a new profile, be ready to enter all your passwords again and for goodness sake back up your bookmarks because it treats everything like it's brand new.
