    WOT for Safari

I recently made the switch from Firefox to Safari, due to repeated crashing and other problems. Still, I miss WOT a lot. WOT is only available for Explorer and Firefox, which is something that makes people like me want to commit suicide.

Make WOT for other browsers now.

    -Opera
    -Google Chrome
    -Safari
-Netscape (not that many people use it any more)
    -etc (other, less common, browsers.)

Thank you so much. Notify me when WOT is available for Safari.

    Re: WOT for Safari

Strange, I haven't had Firefox crash on me on any platform for ages. Have you tried creating a new profile? It might help.

    Opera

Doesn't support add-ons. The last time I checked, widgets aren't powerful enough for a real add-on.

    Google Chrome

Doesn't support add-ons yet, but hopefully will later this year. We'll likely support it when it does.

    Safari

Doesn't have a documented support for add-ons. Can be extended, but we haven't felt it's worth the trouble so far without proper documentation and a commitment to a stable API from Apple.

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any of these.

"I haven't had Firefox crash on me..."

      Neither have I.
FF 3.6 seems to be very stable. There were some minor irritations with FF 3.5 (such as not closing properly) but these seem to have been resolved.

    Sounds good

Sounds like a good list of stuff there. I'll check the profile thing out.

      Re: ALSO SEARCHING................

We don't have an add-on for Safari and probably won't have one in near future either, because writing a Safari add-on is a pretty painful experience I hear.

    Extensions for Safari 4

With the new version of Safari there`s "Extensions". Do you think you could now make one?

      Lol.

This thread is freaking old. Stop digging up old threads :(
I bet they have been trying their best to make one for Safari as fast as they can for the community.

      Re: Extensions for Safari 4

Safari 5 has support for extensions that's fairly similar to Chrome's, but more limited when it comes to extending the user interface. We're looking into it.

    WOT From Safari Extensions Gallery

WOT is listed in Safari 5.0.1 Extensions Gallery but won't install on Safari when I click on it. Any suggestions?

    WOT for Safari

MacBook Pro (I'm a Mac newbie)
    OS 10.6.4
    Browser: Safari

I downloaded WOT for Safari today, but the toolbar button is grayed out. I checked the firewall, and it was not enabled at the time. Thinking it was a good thing, I enabled it. What can I do to enable WOT?
    Thanks for any help!

      Re: WOT for Safari

The toolbar button in Safari is always gray. Do you mean the add-on isn't working at all? What happens if you go to a website and click the toolbar button?

        WOT for Safari

Depending on the site, the icon sometimes has a ? for a second. I read the always-gray link in your post (thank you!), so I have a better understanding of WOT for Safari; however, I haven't seen any WOT site indicator at the left of the site, nor is there any response when you click upon the WOT icon in the toolbar.
