      VLC

I'll also recommend VLC - if you want an alternative possibility.

    You want

If you would like to take a look at this little program , I'm sure you will be satisfied:

    MediaMonkey : http://www.mediamonkey.com/ .

There is a free version or you can download the Trial version of the Paid program. I have yet to come across some one I recommended this program too that wasn't satisfied with the outcome.

    Athlonite.

        What Do you mean!!

What do you mean , "Not bad" . It's the most comprehensive manager around. You don't even need another burner to burn your favorites tracks to CD or DVD. It creates , organizes , plays all types codecs , audio or video .
        Yeah ! I'll say it's not bad.

        Another word/phrase

I prefer "prudent choice" to "cheapskate".

            Yeah

OK . . . "thrifty" certainly sounds better that "cheapskate".

I would call the other guy a "cheapskate". OTOH, I would call myself "thrifty".

George Orwell would have had a good time with this.

    Bit of humor

When I open the coffee cup holder and try to insert my vinyl albums and 7 inch singles they just won't play as they made them tooooooo big, and if I were to try and burn them they would melt :o)

    Vista Codec Pack !

I also like the WMP. But , when I encountered a format I couldn't play , I installed this codec pack.
Vista Codec Pack : This is what you get :

    I haven't seen a format I can't play in WMP since.
