... the very nature of WoT means, it's a democracy (of sorts), and this also means, free speech. This "company" or whatever they are, do not have any legal right that I am aware of, to demand WoT hand over their users data.

By trying to supress free speech, all they are doing is making themselves look worse than they already do.

I had a look at the sites when this issue was first mentioned, and couldn't see anything that would make me believe they were phishing sites. Sadly I also cannot understand a bleedin word of most of the comments, so if someone could enlighten me as to the nature of the sites and why they deserve the phishing classification, I'd be extremely grateful.

If you'd feel more comfortable passing me the information out of the public eye, feel free to do so (wot_users @ my it-mate.co.uk domain)

Google search does not "hit" on any of these "Born sites"

My stupid question is if the name infers intended action, why do "they" wish to give Against Intuition a hard time, why not recommend WOT to their "users?"

Apparently there are enough German WOT users to get these questionable sites rated as dangerous because they intentions are not towards the Internet Consumer.

Letting a Corporation determine Law is against every Democratic Process; though in honesty I have no idea what form of government is set up in Germany, and I really don't care - that's off topic for this thread.

What this Consumer Internet Affairs people do not understand is that WOT is a tool which voices the opinions of it's users. People banded together to rate them low, not Against Intuition.

I think it might be wise to look at the beginning.

If there are more than one such site, they can't both be the one and only Official Site. Probably the complaints of phishing originates from this. But I don't know much of german conditions, so I don't know who is for real, or not.

Consumer Internet Association is currently attempting legal action against the operators of WOT in Finland approach. They called it, among other things:
