a few hundrets of WOT circles on emails?

i can say that WOT acts pretty weird on certain emails, and i say that just because the GamesRadar newsletters are filled with more circles than they are with content.
    here is the pic http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm88/8924th/ghg...

Any ideas to fix this? i would like to see my emails normally if possible :P

    webmail

    Gmail?
each wot icon represents a link.
funny how your newsletter display "invisible" links (no text or image); which is why there's a WOT icon..
It should look more like this, but with WOT icons included:

    its in hotmail

I'm not sure that the email has hidden links, cause there is no need to have such, unless they want to bloat it. It could be Wot on the other end that is bugging with it, but i can't be sure. If there is an option to see the links behind the pics and text then maybe i could give out an explanation about this little issue
by seeing the scorecards of the WOT ratings that bloat the email, they all point out to this: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/cl.exct.net
not really the best about it, might be tracking users down, but at least i aint getting anything from or relating to it

      cl.exct.net

cl.exct.net is a tracking server ....... and nope, the problem here isn't with WoT - it's with your newsletter (or rather, the way they've chosen to format it)

    you're right on this one...

you're right on this one... but as i see WOT won't filter the email if it is displayed as a webpage. Seems like that every link in their newsletters passes through maaany cl.exct.net pages before it finally redirects to the according GamesRadar page.
so WOT is right on its actions, although it is annoying.
Maybe a WOT circle with a little arrow in it could display all the redirects this link will follow until it reaches an end, just like a drop-down list on special WOT icons, useful for people here as well
thanks for your help btw :)

The add-on never follows links and the numerous rating symbols aren't caused by redirects, there should be one rating symbol for each link in the message. You can look at the HTML source code to see where's the problem.

    My Yahoo mail

...is FULL of circles, all the time! Sometimes, the email is so broken up with circles, I don't even bother to read it. I just delete it.

I can understand the desire to show that the links are safe or unsafe, but sheesh! Can't it be set to just do the header or something? As much as I like WOT, this is going to be a huge deterrent to my continuing to use it since I sift through 300+ emails a day on yahoo alone. And I keep them on the web for a reason. I don't want to download anything inadvertently.

      disable

You can disable the icons in your Settings.
Settings->Searching-> Select when ratings are shown:
Scroll down to Yahoo! Mail and untick the check mark box.
Click on Apply Settings to save your changes
(untick other webmail services listed that you may have problems with)

        Re: disable

People who don't want to see green circles can also select the "Show only negative ratings" option.
