    ie8,and service pack 2

    Hi,all.Today i am getting ie8 and service pack 2 as important updates.I have been ignoring the ie8 as WOT add on didnt work properly and when i got my PC back from pc,world the lad said dont install it, it messed up his pc. Now service pack 2 has popped up as an important update the thing is they are now both set on the start menu
    to install on next restart, As some of you know i have had a few problems with this P.C
    now ive got it running im worried the updates will mess it up again?
    Do i have to have them or is there a way of getting out of these updates..

    I haven't had any problems with IE 8 and the latest WOT add-on should work just fine with it.

    right click the ie8 update &

    right click the ie8 update & choose to hide...
    if u want to restore, there r panel on the left...

    Hi,Sami and demonluo ,Thanks for your replys,I suppose im going to have to install the service pack 2 no mater what in the end.I will hide ie 8 for a while.
