Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.37 infected??
Hi,all.I just seen this post. I was going to ask i think im infected my Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. i up dated it earlier and firewall popped up saying it wanted to change parameters at first i said no and an error message came up saying failed to up date so i did it again and allowed change after that MBAM was flaged by WinPatrol as trying to run at start up.I have had the free version for sometime now and never known MBAM to want to run at start up?? Is this correct or is something wrong..
Thankyou for your time...........p...............

don't worry, winpatrol is
don't worry, winpatrol is only asking u if u want to allow the newer installed MBAM engine to refresh after a restart so u should allow it(coz MBAM is secretly telling ur pc to activate the new engine only after a restart)...
& that will apply to some other software as well...

Hey Paul !
It's the changes to MalwareBytes that, YoKenny has mentioned at the top post, that have prompted your security programs to react. Don't worry. This indicates that any change to the OS or programs installed on your PC will be detected. This is a good thing. Now you know that all is working the way it is suppose to.
Any time a program is changed in any way, that will affect the way it acts or updates, your security programs (ie. WinPatrol) will ask for permission. This is all good.
Athlonite.
Your help is always needed.
