First of all: Nice speech (=can't add much).
And congratulations with platinum..!However there's one of your points I'm not sure of: "No more steps are there to come beyond". Yes, now it is so. But in the future too..? As you said "As we all walk our way, we proceed as time gets older.". Well, as time moves on, more and more will be platinum, and that also means platinum will signify less and less. Eventually WOT will have to consider higher levels. As rare metals gave been used, how about stones, like diamond..?

Of course Titanium is also 'rare', well kinda.
I guess I was thinking of the classical rare metals.
But you're right, modern times have seen many new ones,
so why not Titanium, Uranium, Plutonium, Thorium, etc...?Or why not something more 'airy',
like Helium, Neon, Argon, Xenon, Krypton..?

Hm well, I guess in normal society people wouldn't really want to change from Platinum to something like Uranium or Mercury...? Especially since these are poisonous. Maybe "Diamond" would be an option, but I'd also say, if we get too many ranks, it would loose seriousity in some way, wouldn't it?
Btw, hasn't the pointing system been made more rewarding just lately?

I only suggested a list of possible names, to choose from.

How about creating items, like:
The Malware Destroyer Sword +10 - Gives +10 power (aggree) to your comments.
The Sockpuppet Hour of Death Spear - Destroys a Sockpuppet comment.
The Magic Apple - Gives the option to double-rate a site.
Mass Rating Magic Book (LOL) - If you obtain this book, you will get a boost of 300 ratings per click (Only for Gold + members)
And spells, like:
Genesis - Destroys all the crap comments in a website. (Only for Wizards with Platinum Level)
Thunderstorm - Gives -10 to all good comments (by sockpuppets) in a website (Only for Wizards with Platinum Level)
Power Strike - GIves -2 to a comment (Only for Warriors with Gold+ Level)
Now the classes:
Warrior, Magician, Archer, Robot, Admin(GM)
The monsters:
SpySheriff - Boss - 100000 HP, 10000 MP
Win32/Conficker.B - 1000 HP, 800 MP

Platinum Level
As we all walk our way, we proceed as time gets older.
And as we proceed, we leave footsteps where we've been.
Months, many of us even years ago, we all found our way here into the community of Web of Trust. And we all have seen ourselves on the bottom blue end of a giant stairway. No easy would it be walking the first step. No easy would it be climbing the stairway. The higher you get, the more difficult it would take every step to be taken.
A total of 10,000 steps has the stairway.
But all of us saw a great journey, and with the good attitude to build and stabilize the staircase as we walked, all of us began to walk - and saw ourselves always welcome in this community.
By today, many of us have completed this track. Many have even climbed further up.
By today, a total of 39 loyal users have reached the top end of the stairway. And with every day passing on, it will become even more.
When I came this morning, I saw that I now am honoured to be among them. No more steps are there to come beyond.
But will that stop us from walking? Will that prevent us from helping people that are not even walking with us?
In my opinion, the stairway has only been the beginning of an even greater journey that lies there before us. We do not have a target to go for - and this gives us the power to proceed as far as we ever want to go.
As I walked, I got back what you can never buy for any price: Having a place in such a helpful, motivated, open community. And as Deborah showed us in January, you do not even have to have walked half to do a great job.
And so I want to give you all a big THANK YOU back for everything I was allowed to experience here - and for letting me be part of this very extraordinary community!
