    Install WOT for all users

    Hello.

I have been setting up a computer for friends. Each member of the family has its own account on the computer (which happens to be under Windows XP).

I had to install and configure WOT manually on each account.

Is there a way to install WOT for all the users on a computer ?

    Install WOT for all users

I would also like to know if there is a way to install WOT for all users of a PC instead of having to install for each profile on the machine.

Re: "Install WOT for all users"

Presumably in the family situation the users are on one computer one at a time, so it should be possible to login as the Administrator and set up a sandboxed browser that can be used by any of the users by distributing the required shortcuts to each of the user profiles. Just install WOT into that common browser. However, the security implications of sharing a browser, even one in a sandbox, are enough to make it worth the time to install separately in each user's profile.

I think that you have to

I think that you have to install it for each user. The OS probably assumes that the users want different settings/add-ons on their accounts, so this is not possible. I have XP also and I don't know how to do this.

    PS: Everyone should get WOT!

      Re: "The OS probably assumes"

The OS does what it's told to do, but you are right about different users wanting different settings, and such.

There could be some advantages to separate settings

Installing separate accounts can have some advantages; each account can then have separate settings.
Like different levels for adults and kids, to mention a single but obvious example...
