2 strange green circles on blank Google homepage??

When I open my blank homepage (set to Google) I always get two green circle in the middle of nowhere. Nothing disastrous. Just an annoyance.

They relate to xippee.com (a safe Firefox addon) and addthis.com.

Any idea what's going on and how I can stop these weird circles on my blank homepage?

    Many thanks for any suggestions.

    links

WOT displays site safety on Google by evaluating the links on the page.

Something is adding links to those two domains - view page source might help (javascript or similar)

You get a lot of those "mysterious" circles in spam email; ie, 1x1 pixel tracking images.

Does this have to do with Xippee extension?
try disabling xippee and restart FF to see if the circles disappear.

    erm... just guessing here. ;-)

      other option

Many firefox extension developers request that you let them know if there is a conflict with another extension. WOT requests that you click on the Support link -> Report a Problem -> Problem with Firefox Extension -> Other.

Generally the version of Firefox you have, the current WOT version you are running along with the name and version of the conflicting add-on.

I looked and found Xippee Firefox Extension
      Support

Support for this add-on is provided by the developer at http://www.xippee.com or by sending an e-mail to support@xippee.com

Send them both some feedback and let the developers work it out. :-)
