WOT icon in statusbar (in the firefox extension)

Ok, I installed the WOT extension for firefox and I found it really useful. But the only thing I don't like is to have that big button in the toolbar to see the web status, so I want it in the statusbar.

There is anyway to do that?

    Thanks.

    I don't think so

But, you can remove the big button all together, and WOT will work exactly the same. :)

Just go to view, toolbars, customize... and then drag it into the box that pops up.

      Yeah, I know

Yeah, I know. But I can't see the web status (if is yellow, for example). I want to see it in the statusbar, it's only for make it nicer (for me)

    Re: WOT icon in statusbar

There used to be a Firefox extension that allowed one to move toolbar buttons to the status bar, but I still can't remember its name. Please let us know you find it.

Edit: It was the Status Buttons extension, but it appears to have some issues with Firefox 3.5.

      Then...

Force it to work with Firefox 3.5 with the nightly tester tool. After downloading the status buttons extension, download the nightly tester tool, before restarting firefox. When firefox is restarted the addons page will popup. At the bottom right of the page will be a buttion saying "Override all compatiblity". Click on that button, then restart firefox again. After, the status buttons extension will be able to work with firefox 3.5.

No, I mean people are reporting it doesn't work, even though 3.5 is a supported version.

      Another idea?

I already know about that extension, I started this topic to see if there any other way.

I'd like to vote for status

I'd like to vote for status bar icon as well, for 2 reasons:
    - It's more appropriate there by it's category (toolbar contains mostly buttons to perform _actions_, while status bar contains icons desribing parameters of current page (to which page's rating belongs));
    - Netbook users like me might disable toolbars alltogether, and use plugins like Vimperator to replace them.
