    Random memory Dumps? :l

    Hello all ^^
    So yeah, my Laptop is freaky-deaky..at the moment. Well ever since i bought it really..
    y laptop keeps on doing memory dumps when my computer is fine.. it generally does it when 1-2 programs freeze because its loading..
    My most recent one said there was no reason or something (ut gave me 10 seconds instead of 40 seconds to read and i was still a bit confused by then)
    So, Question time!
    Why the hell is my Laptop thats less than 6 months old doing this? Its really annoying and it mess' up my laptop.. anything i was doing was deleted...Important thinghs are deleted... ARGH! Help plez :D

    Assemblers forum

    Though there are a lot of geeks here, you may get more pertinent help on your issue if you post your question in the forum for your machine.

    For example, if you have a Dell machine, go to the Dell forum, HP go to the HP forum, etc.

    You also need to post the model number, your OS, and RAM, and other information that will help somebody troubleshoot your problem.

    If you go to the manufacturers/assemblers forums, you may find that a lot of others are having that same problem with that particular model and you will have a better chance of finding a solution.

    Nevertheless, I'm sure some folks will chime in here, but as I said it would help if we knew the make/model number, etc.

    I agree with BobJam, WOT Forum really is not the place to discuss Computer problems; there could be many reasons: bad programs = uninstall the ones that freeze up during load, bad RAM = either a faulty chip or your laptop is overheating...
    This could be minor or major problem. Personally I would revert it back to how it was when it came out of the box and see how it performs, if there are problems, then I would consult with the manufacturer's support site/forum/line.

    I'll See on HP's forum although, my friend got a e-mail that her computer had a faulty battery, but my laptop dfosent have that serial so i have no idea, so yeah i'll check on HP's Forum ^^ thanks for the info :P
