    search page icons suddenly gone

I am running FF3.5, and have had no problems with WOT until today, when the Google search page stopped displaying rating icons for the individual sites. The "settings" page does not seem to be loading completely, and does not recognize any attempts to change settings. Otherwise, WOT is completely functional: the icon is present in the toolbar, and once a website is called up, the rating is shown. I can display the expanded rating for each site on the search page, but that really slows things down.

I have done uninstall/reinstall of WOT with no change. I haven't done anything unusual, my AV has done its daily update, and I have updated my malwarebytes and Superantispyware without incident.

Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

Sounds like something might be corrupted in your Firefox profile. Please try creating a new profile and installing the add-on there to see if that helps.

OK. I had tried to upgrade

OK. I had tried to upgrade Firefox too many versions at a time, apparently....
A search failed to turn up any reference to "profile" at all. A manual look-see turned up a number of corrupt files.
I didn't even try to repair, but used RevoUninstall in Total Flamethrpwer Planet-Buster Mode to blow out all mention of Firefox. I then downloaded and installed from scratch.
So far (knock wood), all seems in order, including WOT.
So your suggestions to attack Firefox rather than WOT steered me in the right direction
Thanks for the prompt and useful ideas!.
