Re: Icon collisions - again
in the sponsored results the WOT icon was positioned right on top of SAs icon. Am I the only one that see this..?
You're not, we just haven't put much energy into figuring out how to move around the SA icon, which keeps overlapping ours thanks to their gratuitous use of position: absolute;.
But in the sponsored results only SA shows up...
Perhaps their icon covers ours this time. What happens if you disable SA? Btw, make sure you are using the latest version of the IE add-on.

WOT still missing in IE
I tried to disable SA in IE, but no WOT icons hiding below.
PS: I'm not using the latest WOT version for IE; every time I try to upgrade something goes wrong. But I'm using FF as the main browser; I only have IE because it's still widely used (and occasionally I do some webdesign for others...)
PPS: I could of course check the problem on a friends computer. But not right now.
I'm sure they won't appreciate getting influenza too... ;-( -

Re: WOT still missing in IE

That would explain it.
every time I try to upgrade something goes wrong
No worries, this should be easy to solve. What specifically goes wrong?

Re: It usually ends here
You should be able to solve this problem by downloading the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from Microsoft and removing the entry for "WOT for Internet Explorer" before installing the latest version.
I'm not really sure why the Windows Installer sometimes does this, but it seems to be a pretty common problem.

Re: Thanks
I believe it's Windows Installer that causes the problem, not the individual applications. The MSI file isn't much more than a database that tells the installer what to install...

Icon collisions - again
I just googled something, and noticed that icons for SA and WOT were separated in the search results. But in the sponsored results the WOT icon was positioned right on top of SAs icon. Am I the only one that see this..?
Maybe I should add that I'm talking about FireFox. But IE also looks weird: here icons for SA, WOT and XPL are visible and separated in search results. But in the sponsored results only SA shows up...
