You can also middle click the toolbar button to open the scorecard if you don't want to use the rating window.

I guess that leaves no benefit for my workaround! Thanks for telling me about this, it certainly frees up screen real estate. I'm happy to learn about this.

Bookmarklet
I dunno... it just seems that one click for a bookmarklet is even faster than two clicks for the ring then the scorecard button... so if you want a scorecard bookmarklet to open the scorecard of a domain, add this and when you hit it on a page, it will open a new tab with the scorecard.
