    Network issues

We were just down for ~20 minutes due to routing problems somewhere in the backbone, which caused our hosting provider's entire network to be unreachable in most parts of the world. Everything seems to be back to normal now.

Right in the middle of a post

As luck would have it, I was right in the middle of doing a post when that happened.

Fortunately, I use TMP's "protect" function on any tab that has a post in it, and when I saw the communication was broken (checked other sites and FF called them up just fine . . . so I knew it was a WOT server issue), I immediately copied and pasted the post into gedit.

Sometimes I use gedit to compose beforehand, but if I think it's not going to be a lengthy post I just use the posting window to compose.

This is one of those times my short post turned into a "lengthy" one.

In any case, thanks for the update Sami . . . is always good to know what's going on behind the scenes, and reassuring to know that you guys are always on top of things.

No, everything seems to be working normally at the moment.
