    Kid security

    Can we stop using WOT websites, that are harmful for children?
    If yes, how can I do that?

    Hi,

    first of all, the websites of WOT itself are not dangerous for children. However, you can make WOT block any sites that are dangerous for children. Click the WOT icon in your browser, open the Settings menu, go to the "Warnings" tab, turn the child protection as high as you want it (I recommend yellow if you want to protect kids), and turn the switch to "block" instead of "warning". Don't forget to save before you leave.

    Note: This can slow down browsing a little bit because WOT ratings are now loaded BEFORE the rest of the page.

    technical advice

    To stop sites that are harmful for children click WOT icon to open the addon -> press settings on the top right -> click "warnings", here you can customize your level of protection. You can set system to block sites instead of just giving a warning with a flip of the switch in Child Safety zone. And put a mark in "Protect me if no rating is available" field.

    Then press "Apply settings" and you're done! ;)
