    rate my website?

    Hi everyone!

    Dont know if this is okay to post here, but i need my website rating as it says "Not enough ratings for this site"

    Feel free to have a look around and any ideas, criticism etc is welcome also =)

    The site is http://www.e-computing.info - A website that gives free step-by-step computing guides.

    Hello

    You have a very nice website there! But I have noticed some things on it, that I am going to mention.
    Most are minor, one is a little concerning.

    I, most people may not. Frown upon .info domains, as they are the most frequently abused gTLD. If possible you may consider purchasing something else.

    You should give a warning about the dangers of Combofix, it is NOT a general cleaning tool.

    "...there is a section that says Registry, you also want to run a scan through with that as well and fix all the issues." Fixing all the issues that CCleaner detects can be problematic, and can corrupt the registry under some circumstances.

    You mention good firewalls, but I notice Online Armor is not listed. It's my favorite, but sadly does not work on 64 bit systems. http://www.tallemu.com/products-online-armor-free....

    I find that this add-on for Firefox is much easier to use to download Youtube videos; https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/300...

    Just a comment..

    I agree a lot with what Warxas has said. I want to say a comment about Virut. It is an operating system murderer. I would never trust an operating system that has had Virut on it in the past. It attempts to infect all programs, documents, pictures, and website documents (*.html, *.htm, etc).

    The best option to remove Virut is always a reformat and reinstall.

      I have not had any personal experiences with Virut. But I 100% agree with that.

    Thanks! changes made...

    Ok well first i would like to thank you all for giving me some feedback, it has been very helpfull. As a result i have made a few changes that were suggested.

    1 - Removed the Watch Live TV guide until i have checked JLC out properly.

    2 - Added note about combofix and linked to information website.

    3 - Had a look at online armour and added it to our firewall downloads section.

    4 - Note and guide on CCleaner registry cleaner and how to backup and restore the registry is something did go wrong.

    5 - Added a bit of information on virut and that it isnt always 100% successfull at been removed + linked to guides on how to format and backup all data.

    Thanks again for all your input. Its great to have an outside opinion =) keep up the good work people!
