I'm having trouble configuring my LinkExtend bar to show on
standard (any word) searches in Google.
Interestingly, it does show up when I use the Advanced search,
WHETHER OR NOT I USE THE ANY WORD FIELD OR THE EXACT WORDING
FIELD.
For example, when I search on the term Eicar (just an example,
but it happens no matter what the search term is) in the standard
window, the LinkExtend bar DOES NOT show up. When I use the
Advanced window, using either the any word field or the exact
wording field, it DOES show up.
I'm thinking that maybe it's my LinkExtend settings, but I see
nothing about standard versus advanced. I'm trying all kinds of
iterations, but there seems to be a gazillion permutations.
I'm going to try it in a clean profile and see if maybe another
add on is conflicting with it. (WOT works just fine either way,
BTW).
I've posted this question to the LinkExtend people . . . haven't
gotten an answer yet.
