Please make sure that any site you rate red is actually guilty of the accused get-rick-quick scam. There are some sites that are falsely added to the list above, and by rating blindly you are affecting innocent people who have nothing to do with such scams.

mymoneyblog.com is not a fake news site. I've been reading this for real news for over a year. It has excellent insights on personal finance matters and is right up there with the Bogleheads forums for no-BS personal finance fundamentals.

Shotgunning domains without checking them first will not help WOT achieve its goals. Be careful what you do out there!

I'm sure your site will get the proper rating once the others see your post and re-investigate your website. We sometimes make mistakes and when we do they are corrected ASAP.

Edit: Give us a chance to retract the ratings. If there are too many contradicting comments/ratings then it will be "locked." Give it a few hours.

I removed my comment and rating you site SEEMS safe but I am not sure. So I'm not giving it a green rating yet.

But, telling people to install the WOT add-on and rate the site good, will have little or no effect. When people first join wot their "trust" level is not measured yet. Therefor, their influence in site ratings means little to nothing.

The only reason the site is now yellow instead of red. Is because some people quickly and quietly removed their comments and rating. Perhaps they rated the site green too.

p.s. http://www.my-moneyblog.com/ is a scam site related to Scott Hunter. This is probably how it got started. The RSS feed image is a static image, not uploading from Google or Feedburner. He/she does suggest that MyMoneyBlog.com is their own. Please rate THAT site negatively.

http://www.mymoneyblog.com/ (NO dash) is legitimate. Please remove or edit your rating as you see fit, with this new information. Thank you.

Just as Warxas told, the site SEEMS quite safe. I have currently changed my ratings to "Dark Green" for Child Safety and "Light Green" for all others. I have currently given only "Light Green" because it's 'money matters'. ;)
Will have to check the site again before making a final rating.

Hi,

I'm the owner of WorkAtHomeTruth and was alerted to the fact that that MyMoneyBlog.com was being reported as a scam site. I think the problem stems from the fact that on the page you are using I put the list of domains with SPACES to prevent people from clicking on the domains, so my-moneyblog.com was listed as www.my moneyblog.com and it was interpreted as being mymoneyblog.com.

The list of fake news sites is still in the original location as posted here at WOT:

They continue to proliferate at an alarming rate and may get to the point where I will need to divide them up alphabetically.
