    [request] Scorecard comment linking

    Scorecard comments made by WOT Members can be linked to, agreed to disagreed to and Flagged for review. Trusted source comments can not. I can understand restricting trusted source comments from the dis/agree options since it's an automated process.

    Sometimes even trusted sources have false positives (FP's) that require individual attention, for this reason I feel that these comments should be able to be linked to, if using as a reference in a discussion on these forums, or flagged for review if something out of the ordinary may suggest a FP.

    Could the ability for linking and flagging trusted source comments be made available?

    It would be really great to have such a feature. But, there is still a risk of spammers. I think that this feature should be restricted to only some usergroups, so that anyone cannot just sign up for so many WOT accounts and bring down/up such a comment.

    It's a good idea to add links to comments made by trusted sources. However those links are not permanent since those comments get removed from various reasons e.g. too old. We will add this functionality to our TODO list.

    Agreeing and Disagreeing with trusted comments, I'm not so sure about that. It could lead to a situation where e.g. HpHost's valid comment gets down voted by angry site owner and his/her friends. Also agree/disagree votes don't affect site's reputation they only change site's category summary. This feature would need some additional planning before we can consider it to be implemented, but let's put it on the list of possible changes in future.

      The topic was not to involve those features but to allow linking.
      As for any comment linked, if it no longer exists the link leads to nowhere.
      But the ability to link does make it easier for referencing.

      That TODO list is getting pretty big I suspect.
