“Why are you able to disable WOT without being logged in? All you have to do is go to tools then WOT then uncheck enable, thats it? I was wondering why is it sooo easy to enable it? Please help me... Is there a way to take it off of my tools? Thanks Samantha”

Sun 18 Oct 2009 08:43:34 AM UTC — SamiAnyone can disable or uninstall any add-on you have installed in your Firefox. We have a quicker menu option to disable the add-on, because sometimes it's convenient to temporarily disable the add-on without having to restart the browser. The add-on isn't meant to stop users from accessing websites, it's only meant to inform them about the site's reputation. If a user is determined to go to a website despite its reputation, there's always a way to bypass the add-on.
thanks for your response

Mon 19 Oct 2009 03:55:43 PM UTC — SamiThere might be, but a determined user can bypass any browser add-on by simply disabling it or using another browser. The real solution is to educate users not to enter unsafe websites.
