The links are search refinements and disabling them doesn't turn off ratings for Google search, it only stops the refinement links from appearing again.

Just curious here . . . if "Safe Search" is disabled, how can you get it back? (IOW, how can you get those search refinement links to appear again?).

I'm assuming you're referring to "about:config" in FF.

Advanced search
I noticed that this "search refinements" thing only shows up in a simple search on Google.
If you use a term on simple search (for example eicar), the search refinement links show up. But if you use the same term on the advanced search, it doesn't. I'm assuming that's because an advanced search is actually kind of a "search refinment" itself.

Turn off WOT in Google results.
Hi,all.Sorry if this has been posted before but i could not find any posts about it..
I have noticed after i Google something say cars..when the results page opens at the top of the page there is now an option to turn off WOT.it looks like this..
WOT safe search [x] in grey writing. This dose not happen on my mums PC? We both use the latest FireFox..Can anybody tell me what this is please or if i have just missed something in a WOT update...
