    Rating Sites......Risky Business ??

I was curious regarding the rating of sites, in particular, some of the "mega-sites".
Microsoft I could care less about: I've supported them for almost 20 years, have been a certified system builder, have the original NT Workstation CD (and diskettes) plus many, many legal CD's of their many operating systems .
They've ALWAYS given my a hard time, been rude on the telephone, offered NO SUPPORT, spy on users more than all others combined IMHO. Their latest mistake that really cost me was for some reason, a hotmail account I've had since 1999, with thousands of e-mails, suddenly tells me I'm entering the incorrect password, yet I was on the account just 3 weeks ago. And there's no one to help with this. I can hardly answer security questions and other info I entered 10 years ago either.
Regardless of all the babbling above, my real concern is Google, which Ghostery supposedly has blocked right now. Who has the courage to tell it like it is about Google? When I say this, I first mean the actual performance and service they provide as an actual search engine. One searches for practically anything, and after you get through all the paid entries that pop up first and repeat page after page, you just might possibly find what you're looking for. And who uses Scroogle and Scroogle scraper ?
Who's even heard of them ? My main concern with Google is it's dominant presence on
the net and users having no choice at all and in essence, having to submit to "King Google".

There's recently been a scandal with hotmail passwords being stolen - you might want to contact them because your account is likely to be frozen.
