    Hi, New to WOT

    I'm fairly new to WOT . First time on Fourm. I have my own site www.solebrickmusic.com but it hasn't been review yet by anyone. Wondering if there's any kind-hearted souls out there who wouldn't mind dropping by and giving me a review? I'm just a solo musician who records and plays music and wants others to hear it. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

        You ´re right

        I tried whois and got no entry at all. Seems that it was a mistake of whois. But i also couldn´t find anything at internic&co. Well,doesn´t matter,the site seems to be ok

          What does this mean?

          Thanks for checking out my site. Was a bit concerned that you couldn't find details at whois and internic&co. Is there any particular reason why that would be? Do you know what I can do to get this remedied?

            do you mean the fact that i haven´t found anything? seems to be a failure of whois. Sometimes one can still find something with internic, denic and co., but not in this case. But as i got no entry at whois, it wasn´t your fault.
            But as i ´ve said, it´s a private homepage. You don´t sell anything (maybe just promoting your songs)and you even don´t give your opinion to the world, so it wouln´t matter if you would hide your identity.

    Layout suggestions

    I've got a few layout suggestions

    1. Your page is wider than 1024 pixel, which is still a popular standard,
    especially in smaller and portable pcs.
    Why not try 1024 px - not everybody has a super screen...

    2. Nothing wrong with tables, but you don't need to highlight every border on every cell.
    Try adding space in stead to separate different columns.

    3. Be careful with text lines too long;
    text that stretch the whole width of the screen is difficult to read;
    Try 2 or 3 columns instead.

    4. Letters are a bit to big. These days people can adjust letter size in their browser;
    so why not stick to the standard size? Try decreasing size a bit...
    That would also help the general layout, if content isn't inflated in size...

    Hope it helps, and welcome to WOT...

      Your helpful tips

      Thanks for the suggestions to the layout. I'm always looking to improve the look and user-friendliness. I'm still getting to grips with HTML and haven't really got into CSS yet. Lot to learn. But if guys like yourself can keep me on the right track, that;'s great! Thanks.
      Update: I've acted on most of your advice on my site, if you wanted to take another look and see if that has improved things. Cheers.
