   What do you base reviews on?

   For example let's look at BidFire
   Are people aware that to bid, you must pre-purchase "bid blocks"?
   So... say it's a 5 cent increment bidding item, you need to purchase a minimum of 10 bid blocks, so you pay 10 dollars for the ability to place 10 five cent bids, basically it costs you 1 dollar to make a 5 cent bid. Let's say you really want this item and you have placed 22 bids to "win" It costs you $22.00 plus the final bid amount.
   BidFire started back in 2006 and the domain is currently for sale:

   I try to review new and up

   I try to review new and up and coming sites, also sites that aren't well known. I either search for interesting sites to review or people send sites to me via a form on my website. In the case of bidfire, someone submitted it to me, so I checked it out and wrote up a quick review. I did mention that you have to pay for bids and everything but I didn't go into to great of detail. I did not know the site was up for sale.

   I did have open ID along with Twitter and facebook logins availible, but I couldn't get it to integrate with my normal log in, so I took it out. I'll consider putting it back in.
