        spamming ?

Thank you for taking moderating role so seriously !
maybe a bit of advice before putting Red for all my sites , which have nothing to do with our behaviour here., would have been appreciated.

Here and in another thread I was not spamming i thought after i rated one's site i could ask so ! Obisouvly it s not the way ot goes
Moreover, one review is asked in french as our sites are mostly french oriented.

Finally, i guess as a WOT expert you might make a difference between a mistake, a misunderstanding and SPAM !
        I guess i do...

          Helping

While I might have chosen a different word than "spamming" . . . a phrase perhaps like "butting in" or "hijacking a thread" . . . the fact is that shazza was giving you good advice.

Here's why: When you hijack a thread, or "butt in" or "spam a thread", the thread then becomes a big question mark as to who is responding to who, unless a user specifically addresses you . . . which becomes necessary.

Confusion prevails, and then miscommunication is likely.

For example, in this thread if a user said they gave the site a red rating, and DID NOT address anyone in particular (which is often the case), you would not know if they meant your site or the OP's (newprouser) site. (And it's not necessary to ask a specific user to reciprocate . . . it is sufficient just to ask that ANY and ALL users rate your site . . . that is not a rule, rather to me it is common sense).

When you start your own thread, responses will be made to you and you can tell any hijackers to "butt out" (or whatever term or phrase you choose) for this very same reason.

It's not only neteqette (I doubt shazza was lecturing you on manners), it is PRACTICAL.

shazza was giving you good advice (though you may not have liked the use of the word "spamming"), and a sarcastic response was wayyyyyyy out of line.

(BTW, as far as "asked in french" goes, you could easily state your request in French and then in English in the same post . . . in your own thread.)

      Please don't "hijack"

What you've done here is "hijack" a forum topic - the topic was about another user's site; please start a new topic asking others to rate your site; you're new to the forum, so obviously you didn't mean to "hijack" a topic, just the next time you ask for a review, start a new topic.
