    Strange...

This thread seems to exist twice in the forums list of threads.
What goes on here; am I the only one to see a duplicate..?

      You're not the only one

You're not the only one, I see the duplicate too. Strange.

    re: matthewbyrnelaw.com

Hello Matt welcome to WOT forum.
    Lawyer, huh?
Good, now we know who to use for litigations when privacy concerns come up.
    Oh!
    Wait a minute...
You have a website that offers a contact form requesting name, phone number, and email address.
When this data is collected referencing an individual, it it called PII - Personally Identifiable Information and thus a Privacy Policy is required on your website.
    I don't see one...
You'll need to resolve this then hit me up for a review.

      Thanks

I'll edit the contact page and state that states "all information collected is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of contacting the sender."

I am slightly concerned with the "ethical concerns" flag - will that be removed as well? Thanks again.

        re: ethical issues

The Ethical issues comment has been deleted, and I've changed my ratings to green.
Thanks for making aware "how" info is collected and the assurances that it is not shared.

Stupid question, lawyer-client privilege only applies to [paid] clients, right?
Where as on the Web, anyone could enter information into that form... even a 10 year old.
You might want to include reference to COPPA by adding a disclaimer that the contact form is not intended for children.

      Privacy statement

I preferred a plain-language statement to the DMA gobbledygook, Really, any information is protected by a limited attorney-client privilege. Please do let me know if there are any other concerns with my page, and thanks again for the heads-up.

And, if it's possible, can someone please remove that horrible "ethical issues" flag from the page profile?

Privacy Statement: Infomation sent via this form is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of contacting the sender. Communication via the form is neither encrypted nor secured. The sender will receive an e-mailed copy of the information if an e-mail is provided in the form.

      Thanks everyone.
