    issue with wot

I was looking at this site, fatethegame.com It looked really cool, but wot said it wasn't appropriate for kids, and wasnt safe for personal information. Nwo, its a game, so idk how thats possible... I looked it up on google, and found nothing saying it was unsafe, in fact, it even has its own wikipedia article! Is this a glitch with wot like yodlee? Or is fatethegame.com secretly dangerous?

We rate the websites, the WOT staff creates, and advertises the add-on, and together, we make it all happen.

Actually, fatethegame.com seems to forward you to games.wildtangent.com, which apparently has had its share of issues with malware. It's not a glitch, the reputation is based on user testimonies.

    Re: Issue with WOT

Sami is right, Wildtangent is a bit notorious for malware that it will install with most of its games. The malware is usually just adware but it can be really annoying. If you watch the show X-Play on G4, when they were reviewing the game FATE, Morgan Webb actually warns viewers that Webtangent has just such a reputation. I would avoid them like the plague.
