Wot is awesome
You can't judge something you haven't tried or looked into. I am a user of wot and I know you couldn't have looked into wot considering you know nothing about it. Site advisor scans sites. Wot can find sites that have dangers beyond simply viruses and spyware but illegal operations, theft, and other horrible factors. Scans dont find scams. Wot does. I'd like to know the address to your company website and I'll check it out personally. I think it's also the rudest thing ever for not only someone to critisize something they know little to nothing about, but to accuse them of something their not in public for all viewers to see, discouraging their descion. I'm horrified anyone would do such a thing, andI personally think you deserve to be banned from this website.

re:Never even heard of this before...
It looks like several of our users have considered your site a bit shady, but it's good to know you're not into any questionable activities. However, contacting us directly so we could have investigated the issue instead of throwing a tantrum in public would have been preferable.
Anyway, many of your misunderstandings about our system have been addressed in this blog post:
http://www.mywot.com/en/wot/blog/2007/3/31/
For example, if you install WOT and try it for yourself, you can see that untrusted "anonymous drones" have very little effect on reputations.
What comes to your reputation, I'm pretty confident that your previous(?) affiliation with Direct Response Technologies is the reason it's less than stellar. It seems SiteAdvisor doesn't have much higher opinion of them either, if you were wondering:

If you are no longer affiliated with them, as it would seem, and aren't doing anything our users might resent, I'm sure your reputation will improve once more users share their opinion.
As always, if you have concerns about WOT or your site's reputation, please let us know and we'll look into it.

Whatever...
I threw a tantrum because a potential client asked me about this "service" , if you discover a service that is telling people you are shady when you are not in the least, it just might piss you off to, now wouldn't it.
We are not in any way connected to Direct Response and although 18 months ago we did have common ownership the businesses were distinct units. Anyway, we have nothing to do with them any longer and have not since January 06.

re:Never even heard of this before...
Well, now that you ask... were I running a company, I might have shown a bit more restraint when representing it in public. ;) Then again, I try to do that even when I'm speaking only for myself...
Anyway, thank you for the information. I'm sure your users are glad to hear you no longer have anything to do with Direct Response. Please remember that we haven't rated your website, your users have. We simply provide them a way to share their experiences.

Never even heard of this before...
A potential customer pointed out to us that we had a bad reputation. It's lovely that you have a system that allows you to hide behind secret algorithms and "user" feedback to cause harm to customers.
SiteAdvisor who actually runs tests finds us perfectly clean.

To say that I'm angry would be an understatement.... We don't share user information, we don't send SPAM we don't have popups we don't do anything remotely shady and yet we can still be basically slandered by anonymous drones. Yeah, this is a great system.
