    Yellow?

    Hi

    Whi have this website (http://prmf.realmsn.com) a yellow mark and have a sign of "Comodo Authentic Site - Secure by SSL" ?
    I know, this website have SPAM this forum, but the owner don´t know that, and says SORRY in name of all the comunity...
    But it´s a safe forum... Why yellow?

    Since the most influencial red rating comes from HpHosts (or so I believe), I'd think you should try contacting MysteryFCM about that rating, and possible removal from HpHosts database if situation has been corrected.

    Improved rating.

    It is good that you have removed that page.

    Please check for anything else which may be illegal or unethical, especially 'warez' - illegal copies of software.

    For other reviewers: it appears to me that this site was established as a help forum for speakers of Portugues.
    The owner is responding to requests to clean up the site.

    Posting a polite request here for help is NOT spam.
    The site owner has a right to reply to comments, surely?

      We've had two threads about this site before (one in January and the other in July), but both were removed a few weeks ago upon PRMF's request.

    C'mon guys

    Okay, here's the first problem;

    Look at the comments ..... PRMF, PRMF, PRMF - 5 comments on the first page alone, all from the same person, and 4 of them are nothing but blatant attempts at trying to adjust the rating of the site. If he's got a problem with his site's rating then fine, get in touch with WOT and myself (since it's also in hpHosts), but by posting as he has above, he's made clear that he couldn't give a hoot about going the correct way of getting a rating changed.

    Second problem? He's rated his own site as child friendly - major woopsie as this is definately NOT the case, as is evident by the "XXX - MAIORES DE 18 ANOS!" section of the forums.

    Third problem, on the following page;

    Besides the rest of the crap that should not be there, this page also loaded a malicious popup that leads to a known malware distributor;

    .... and oh yep, they're still distributing warez, so nope, the site should not be rated as "safe" under any definition of the word. I only had to take a quick look (under 10 mins) to find the above - imagine if I took an entire day???

    The section XXX is only available to users over 18 per registration, no child has access to the areas , and that comments is to try make my rating up... If they was wrong, i´m sorry and coul delete them? Thanks...

    Rubbish

    When your site links to malicious websites, it is YOUR responsibility to do something about it. Claiming otherwise is absolute tosh and not something any legit site operator would do.

    As for your commenting on your sites report, which according to the RSS feed, you've done yet 3 more times in the last few mins, you should NOT be doing this solely to try and improve your sites rating, and especially not so many times - reply once and be done with it. If you've got a problem with the sites rating, contact WOT.

    The commenting options on the WOT scorecard were hopefully meant for sites visitors and such, and not the site ops themselves (otherwise, whats the point?).

    And as I've said above, you are still knowingly distributing warez and such, whether directly or indirectly is irrelevant.

    As to the XXX being closed to under 18's, I didn't actually believe you were telling the truth, so I checked ...... and nope, you weren't telling the truth. I've just registered an account with youre site, giving my date of birth as 1995, which would have made me 13 ..... and guess what - I accessed the threads in the XXX forums without any problems. Even if this had been the case, all the user would have to do is change their DOB in their user profile and voila - instantly 18 or older (just as I've just done).

    ........ remember, you aren't dealing with some newb here.

        Um ....

        1996 > 2008 = 12 years old, not 18

        And as I've said, the test account I created, had it's DOB set to 1995, which = 13 Years old - nowhere near 18, and I was still able to access the XXX part of your forums.

            Not until you address the other issues that have been presented to you - illegal content being one of them. Alas however, going on your blog, if you remove the warez and stop your forums being allowed to offer/link/distribute such, your forums will have little left ....

              .. and whilst looking through your forums, I noticed an increasing amount of requests asking me to re-login, and attempts to do such failed. Basing this on the message I received when trying to re-login, it appears you've deleted the MysteryFCM account - way to make yourself look legit - try and lockout the researcher (would take me half a milisecond to create a new account).
