Cookies Contains stuff.
From what I've heard, Cookie can steal your account, and also steal identities if you go on the wrong site, and then log in somewhere.

Only if someone somehow
Only if someone somehow manages to copyintercept a cookie that has, say, a password hash/cleartext password.
Cookies like you described above are mainly used by advertizers and site owners to track where and how often people browse. The information stored in cookies can be viewed by users, most of the time the info is some random user ident string, timestamps and site of origin, that's it.
Cookie by itself does not steal anything.
If you really have security concerns regarding these cookies, my advice is that you choose from ASAP some other security forum (such as Landzdown) and ask there. People involved in malware removal may be able to shed a better ligh to your question than us here.

Re: Cookies
A website cannot set cookies for others, so there was probably content from both of these sites embedded on the page you were viewing. There's most likely nothing to worry about, but if you don't like the cookies, you can simply delete them and block those sites from setting new cookies in future. Like lordpake said, cookies themselves aren't really harmful.

Disable third party cookies...
I don't browse with third party cookies enabled... Can't third party cookies, track where you go etc? Like doubleclick cookies...?

vlaze dot com
vlaze dot com
stinykpoo baxturdsFor well over a year, it has been among the sites I block via a HOSTS file entry
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=malware+vlaze
If the GaiaOnline pages will not operate correctly once vlaze has been blocked, I'd say it's time to cross 'em off your list of visited sites.

Your Close But No Cigar

GaiaOnline.com
I have been a member since 2004, but starting today, it has been acting very strange! Every time I send a message to another member, Gaia seemingly set random Cookies on my computer.
One of the sites was "http://vlaze.com", I'm almost positive!
Another site I saw was "http://emoworld.com", but I'm much less sure than vlaze.
If anyone would like to step in and take a guess at what the heck is going on, I'd love to hear a reason.
