    VirusTotal !

    I get the same busy signal. Their site could be down for maintenance as this is the only way to get things done sometimes. If you visit latter on , they could be back up. I`ll also try latter and see what gives. I tried it in both IE8 RC1 and in Firefox 2

    what was your reason for the visit . are you uploading a HJT log and want to get it analyzed or is it just a file.

    If it`s just a file or a downloaded program or .RAR , just right click on the file and in the Context Menu , you should have a entry from one of your security programs to manually scan the file or downloaded program.

    OR , you can upload your HJT log to this site :
    http://www.hijackthis.de/ .

    It is a German site with a different way of going about analyzing the log. I find it very interesting and informative. You can choose the language in which it will display it`s contents.

    Athlonite.

    Your help is always needed.

    Just an FYI folks ....

    .... Both VT and Jotti's online scanners, amongst others, are/have been, victims of dDos attacks.

    Older engines

    The other thing to note about using these sites is some of the scanners are using older AV engines than are in use today, and results may vary due to settings actually used within the AV scanner itself.

    VT

    VT is currently experiencing some technical difficulties at present, so may not function as normal. If you experience this issue, please DO let them know (the info is displayed on the screen for you - this is what you need to send them), and try Jotti instead or NVT;
