They're Back - Thank You!
Yes, they're all back again. Thank you!! Whatever you did fixed it. 30 minutes ago they weren't there.

Hi there,
hmm, yesterday I noticed something like that too.
In my most recent thread, FinalMapler said he had reached Platinum, and everyone congratulated him (he actually made it!).
However, when I viewed his profile I could only see something like 7900 (or 9700?) activity points. Nevertheless, today he is at 13 000. He seems to have been on Platinum, then slided back to gold for some reason (maybe data missing like here?), and now he has his well deserved rank back. Maybe these two glitches have the same cause?
PS: @FinalMapler, just in case, please don't get me wrong, this post is absolutely nothing questioning your great achievement! It's just a glitch report.

Hi,
it wasn't only on his profile page, but he also had the golden profile image border on the forum. And weirdly, he seemed to have been Platinum recently before that as everyone congratulated him. I don't know what that was, but maybe it was connected to the other issue?
@FinalMapler: Did you notice that yourself too?

Two things . . .
Here's two things I noticed about your site that may require some attention . . . OTOH there may be a reasonable explanation . . . but it did sort of confuse me, a first-time visitor:
- You have the word "Cybewitch"" ("a site by Cybewitch") higlighted and colored as a link, yet clicking on it produces nothing . . . that's confusing.
- Additionally, the spelling seems to have left out the "r" in "Cyber".
As I said, there may be an explanation to these things, but it's confusing for a first time visitor.

Wow, thanks
It's been years and I never noticed the misspelling. Very kind of you to take the time to bring it to my attention and much appreciated.
It's a mailto: link, possibly there's no mail client associated with your browser?
BTW...
I've added a Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Service to the bottom of the home page. I got rid of the "Top Listed Wicca and Witchcraft" referral. Now that I have Google Analytics, I can see it doesn't really help and they include a cookie which I'd rather not have.

http://www.cyberwitch.com/privacy.htmI'm not really sure how to "tag" pages in my site for child safety. I'd rather not have visitors under age 13. Does anyone have any advice in that regard?

Mailto link
Yes, my browser for some reason misses a lot of mailto links . . . but I do use Thunderbird as my mail client. I should have looked at the source code. My bad there.
At least I got the spelling thing right. 50/50 ain't bad.
BTW, interesting site. The extent of my knowledge is Stonehenge, Druids, Gothic decorated teenagers (which I'm sure are not representative), The Crucible, and the History Channel features. I'm sure I have a lot of popular misconceptions. Have to read some of your stuff. Don't really believe that stuff, but I find it an interesting viewpoint.

Stonehenge, Druids, The Little People
I think that's wise, sometimes I don't believe in that stuff. One should be at leisure to suspend disbelief. Glad you're enjoying it. And no, not bad at all, thanks again!

@ cyberwitch
I'm tired now, just did a dig on stormfront.org, so I'll lurk your site another day.
But I am curious... what does the "NEO" stand for?

what does the "NEO" stand for?
In "Neo-paganism", I think it's to distinguish the modern subcultures from the historical cultures.
In The Matrix, one : )

Neopaganism
LOL
Yah, I was tired when I posted that I seen the hyphen and thought the prefix had it's own meaning.
/me embarrassed...

The rating and comments on my site vanished
Recently the good rating and comments on my web site www.cyberwitch.com vanished. The comments noted the several longstanding references to my site on Wikipedia and in DMOZ and 1 recent bookmark on Delicious I think.
The site is a "WICCA / NEO-PAGANISM" spirituality resource. My site has been in existence since 1998. I run it personally. I have no pop-ups and collect no personal information. It's not commercial and I pay for it myself. (Only 1 page even has Google Ads, the Astronomy Q & A,).
I've hosted "The Writings of Roy Bowers" since 2000. It the "official" download site for the late author's work (he's considered very influential in his field). That site is widely linked to and the url is referenced in several printed works - some you can find on Google Books. The url is www.cyberwitch.com/bowers
I also host "When is a Celt not a Celt" a popular article on fluffy neo-pagan literature. I host websites for 2 well respected "covens" in the US and UK. I even have some non-esoteric sections on gardening, astronomy and Robin Hood.
I've always been grateful to have received a good rating from WOT because religious discrimination can still happen in this day and age even though "WICCA" is pretty commonly understood by the public from TV shows.
I installed Google Analytics about a month ago but that's the only site wide change I've made. I don't understand how everything could just vanish except the description and tags I entered months ago and the blurry thumbnail. (Which can be un-blured... it's the Tree of Life). I've never received a bad comment and it seems unfair for the history to be erased like that, especially when it's all still applicable today and be validated on Wikipedia, DMOZ etc. None of that has changed.
I'm hoping it's a technical glitch that will be restored but I don't know how I can report that sort of thing. In the meantime, PLEASE help turn me green again. WOT is important to me and it feels awful to be gray!
Any advice is welcome!!
