    Quarantine

Hi,all,I have just done my security programs updates. Then i do my full scans with SUPERAntiSpyware, MBAM ,Avast .A squared.I do them in this order.. SUPERAntiSpyware found something so i quarantined it and continued scanning with no more detected objects.Could somebody tell me please if a object is quarantined dose that stop it being detected by the other programs.? Iam not sure if it is a false positive as it is from my printer,I done a google but did'nt find much about it here is the log if anyone could let me know if it is please.

    Re: Quarantine

If an object is quarantined by an anti-malware application it is usually stored in a password-protected archive which means other scanners will not be able to access the infected file and thus detect it.

This may be a false positive as it is a generic detection. ("Gen-MSFake").

"msvcrt.dll" is the Microsoft C++ Runtime Library.

However, I'd still upload the file to VirusTotal just to be sure.

    Hope this helps!

    If VirusTotal is too busy...

If VirusTotal is too busy, try one of these:
