    WOT ratings button isn't linked with my profile.

    Hi, I recentley installed Firefox onto my new computer and installed WOT. But, the ratings aren't linked to my profile even though I am logged in. I have restarted Firefox, but I still have the same problem.

    Your add-on hasn't been synchronized to your account. There should be a Synchronize tab on your profile, which should solve the problem.

    Problem

    From time to time, I use the CometBird browser, essentially a FireFox clone.

    In that browser, I don't get the "synchronize" button, but there's a nuance to this.

    For some reason (can't remember why), I created another account in CometBird: rbjamie. Obviously there's no synchronization on that one with the BobJam account.

    But when I log out of the rbjamie account and log in to the BobJam account in CometBird . . . that's when I don't get the sychronization option, and that's when I think I should.

    'Speriment . . . I've opened my Firefox (which I'm in now), and of course it opens to the BobJam account when I go to WOT. And then I opened CometBird, and logged in to the BobJam account. Still no synchronization option in either.

    Do I need to remove that rbjamie account? Can I do that? If so, and if I should try that to remedy this situation, how would I do that?

    What am I missing here?

    Sorry for late reply.

    You should remove the second account rbjamie. You can do it from the profile edit page at http://www.mywot.com/profile/edit . There click the delete button on the bottom. After that clear all your cookies and login to your normal account. This time there should be a synchronization message and button.

      Did that . . . didn't seem to work

      I'm in CometBird now and did all you suggested. Still don't see a synchronize button. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place . . . it would be in my edit profile section, wouldn't it?

        Hmmm . . . wondering . . .

        Now that I look at it . . . am in CometBird right now and logged in as BobJam . . . it looks as if it's already synchronized. For example, I am logged in automatically now, just as I have my preferences for WOT set in FF. Maybe I'm already synchronized just by virtue of deleting that rbjamie account and deleting cookies.
