      There is nothing malicious

There is nothing malicious in the revosetup.exe linked at the top of this post. There are only two executable files inside the installer, one of which is a common plugin for the NSIS installer, and the other is the application itself.

        Was worried, I have used

Was worried, I have used Revo with no problems. I went to the home site to download, and still uploaded it to VirusTotal which was clean. Scanned with Avira, which is what I use, that was clean.

          Revo

I also put it through virustotal and jotti, scanned with a few other apps on another machine. I have used Revo for some time and never found any form of virus or FP :-)

    Links?

Can you please post the links that claim Revo contains malware or what antivirus is reporting it as malware?

    Scanned

with Avira and found it to be clean. I have been using Revo for a Very long time and never had problems.

I scanned the .exe from Pedro's direct link and downloaded one from Revo's site. Both contained the same amount of files scanned (49). I have also scanned the .exe from one of my previous downloads and found that my older version has only 46 files. The newer version added some tools which account for the number of files discrepancy .

Where did you download Revo from??

If at all possible , Always download from Official Site :
    http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_fr...

    Athlonite.

    Your help is always needed.

I think there is a concensus cotojo.
I think that "http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/W32-Womble-Worm-Cleaner-Download-100736.html" is not safe.

      @ Pedro

      W32, Womble Worm Cleaner results:
      VirusTotal:
      File cleanwomble.exe received on 2009.05.27 17:31:20 (UTC)
      Current status: finished
      Result: 0/40 (0.00%)

The application itself is safe, the problem is with many of Softpedia's offerings, which like any other affiliate download site, also has rogue applications listed as 'good'.
