Re: Look at this comment
This is why you cannot trust comments from random people. I suppose reputation ratings are really starting to hurt scammers, because I've seen an increasing number of posts all around the web trying to discredit us with these types of lies.

This is what it says
"Lousy Software. Riddled with Spyware
If you want software with spyware then this is the program for you. I know cause I am from Finland and they have written here in the newspapers about this site and software being loaded with spyware and the founders used to be in the porno business on the Internet."
I laughed so much, I had to post it here. :)

I'd like to know...
...if this guy is a troll, or if some Finnish newspaper really did write a bunch of bogus stuff about WOT, and he's just repeating what he heard.
Also "I am" is not slang, it's standard verb conjugation. That made me lol.

Re: I'd like to know...
Why would a newspaper print a bogus article about us?
No Finnish newspaper has ever written such a story, and the person who posted the completely fabricated comment is obviously a troll and most probably not even from Finland.

I know. I know . . . (grunts and waves hand high)
If a newspaper in Finland was owned by Marcus Born, it would likely print a bogus article on WOT.
BTW, what ever happened to that bum? Last I recall, he was tied up in court.
Phantazm, you were keeping up with that stuff . . . anything new?
(Hey, Sami, that Born bum doesn't own any newspapers in Finland, does he?)
And, yes, amishrabbit, I was likewise baffled by that "am" reference to "slang" thing. Must be something peculiar to Britspeak (that MysteryFCM is not aware of) since Crayonpetals is a UK person.

@BobJam
The last thing that I know is that Jürgen R. from rotglut.org has been sent to prison. He was one of the main enemies of Born. I just opened his website again and found it to be down.
Anyone wondering what's going on...?

Furthermore
I just had a look at Born's website. In their post about J.R. being arrested there's a link to a YouTube video, that has by now been removed because of a violation of the Terms of use.
Btw, why is he calling his group "Idealverein" (ideal club)?
well, I sit here scanning every post for half an hour for things that might offend Born... I don't have that much time, so no more from me to this topic today.

Regarding "that Born bum"...
BobJam: "Phantazm, you were keeping up with that stuff . . . anything new?"
I'm not a german, so I can't read about "that Born bum" before it's presented here. But I'm sure our german members will notify us, when this issue evolves...

Ah, you're probably right.
Ah, you're probably right. It appears he's smoking crack. He has weirdly divergent views from both WOT and Symantec on other sites he rated, such as shadowops.net and summitsoftcorp.com.

Guilt by association?
Not to do that . . . BUT . . . I really couldn't follow the conversation between Crayonpetals and ErorGen866 in this thread. In particular, I couldn't decipher this post.
Evidently, the whole thing made g7w thirsty.
To me it was like the classic: "If a train leaves Chicago at 7PM, how fast is it going?".
One big "Huh?"
