Very nice
Maybe before editing, a discussion of what information should be added?
Get ideas for a Category List; a rough draft so-to-speak for structuring the information that will be entered. One could think of a wiki category as a crude "site map." The information entered should focus on WOT - the add-on, Against Intuition - the developers, and should not include help for other software. Mentioning other products would make it seem that WOT is officially endorsing them; I think that this is something Web of Trust would want to avoid. These are my opinions, I might be wrong so please offer some discussion.Wiki's have their own "language" I suggest people not familiar with editing Wiki pages should view the Help Section; this should answer most questions of "how" "where" and "why."
I shall gladly offer time for content entry.
I can't remember off hand who all participated in the Google Group "wiki" but I know that wehaveitall and phantazm were highly active, maybe they would offer assistance in transferring their hard work from Google Pages to www.mywot.com/wikiI have an active day today, I lurk this thread later this evening.

I liked the idea of having more in-depth information about customizing the add-on in the wiki. We could copy the search rule documentation there and users can add rules for their favorite websites, for example.
The information entered should focus on WOT
I agree.

re: Additional search rules
Quick question
Why ar the background IMG CSS properties different between the two examples?just curious.
Also, you might want to edit and insert a CR between right bracket ] and left brace { to keep the text contained within the shaded block area.

Simplified.
I have simplified the style. The attributes were not really necessary (I just copy-pasted the examples).

Re: created
Wikipedia supports multiple languages by having multiple wikis. We should probably limit this one to English content.

about activity scores
Just thought of something...
WOT currently includes activity that is directly related to a User's Activity Score as:
Website Ratings
Scorecard comments
Website comments (Forum, Blog, Poll)
Invitations sent to friends.will Wiki involvement (article contributions - new / edit) be included?
just curious. :-)

re: activities
Could someone again give me the exact values of the activity scores when someone's rank changes so I can include them in the article? With the search feature I can only find no/inaccurate information.

Add the Online threats
http://www.mywot.com/wiki/Spam
I did not mean to steal any information from the WOT website, I just thought that it would go well in that Wiki page. Please continue those series of Internet threats.
Just MyWOT and SpywareBlaster, I guess... Found a malicious or fraudulent website? Rate it at WOT ASAP! Found a game hacker? Report it to the game's anti-cheat team! Infected with a virus? Delete it with an antivirus =P

WOT Wiki
I'm glad we can finally start an "official" Wot Wiki!
Perfect timing too. I was just checking the wot forum since I hadn't in a while when I stumbled upon this topic :)
We rate the websites, the WOT staff creates, and advertises the add-on, and together, we make it all happen.

Re: Updated
we should add these info into the Wiki
I think the wiki should a) be about WOT and b) include information that's not already on the main website or is difficult to find, because it's hidden somewhere in old blog or forum postings. The basic information about online threats on the other hand is right on the front page, so why should we copy it to the wiki?
Edit: Also, don't forget about copyrights when adding content to the wiki. If the content is not licensed under a compatible license, copying it to the wiki is a copyright infringement (referencing it as a source is fine though).

re: basic information about online threats
- Not to mention that basic information about online threats already exists on Wikipedia, for example:
- Adware
Backdoor (computing)
Browser exploit
Crimeware
Identity theft
Malware
Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Phishing
Ransomeware
Rootkit
Scareware
Spam (electronic)
Spyware
Trojan
Virus (computer)
Warez
Worm (computer)
IMHO, linking to these and other similar articles would best suffice the reader. If they are inquisitive and require more info than a simple reference, let them view the Wikipedia article in full. BTW, anyone can register with Wikipedia and edit these articles to enhance upon them, if needed.
