Go ahead
Controlled by user ratings. Rate some pages if you like. Not sure how easy it would be to do a rate-all. I do not see a need for it, since the subdomains inherit the reputation of its host. For example, see the popular rootkit detector's page, RootRepeal: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/rootrepeal.googl... - as you can see, it inherits the host's reputation.
So, as long as GooglePages.com stays a good site, all the others will be green. NOW, if you see malware or any other issues like scams, rate them red right away. This takes a lot of browsing around and looking for GooglePages subdomains.
Check this out, which may help you search for pages in the GooglePages directory: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Agooglepages....
See one of the What's this? help section on that scorecard:
"When a subdomain does not have enough reliable ratings, it inherits the reputation of its parent domain. For example, if the parent domain's reputation is poor, it affects the subdomain's reputation as well until the subdomain has enough ratings of its own."~DragonMaster Jay, malware researcher,

Re: Google Sites needs site-based ratings
You're right, sites.google.com probably would benefit from more specific ratings and it looks like a suitable candidate for continuing the Twitter experiment.
I just enabled ratings for the individual websites on sites.google.com. You can right click the WOT toolbar button and select "Check for updates..." from the pop-up menu to enable them immediately (only in Firefox though), or wait a few hours until the add-on updates its search rules. You should then see individual ratings for the sites hosted there.

Re: how come all the update
No, we haven't abandoned IE, but new features will come first to Firefox users, mostly because the development time on Firefox is significantly shorter.
Btw, this feature is enabled on IE too, there's just no "Check for updates..." item on the pop-up menu.

@ Sami Re: Google Sites
Thanks, nice addition!
I've made quick reference on the Wiki to announce this, along with the previous announcement for the Twitter profile ratings. Edit, move as you see fit. IMO there should be a detailed version listing with change log; including differences, if any, between IE and FF add-ons.

Agreed
I wasn't sure if it falls under the category of Development or Documentation or possibly a different category. I felt it's info that can get quickly lost within the Forums and should find a home somewhere on the Wiki. IMHO "Documentation" would be the proper place, but as part of a version / change log.

What is this website doing, offering links to Comodo, AVG etc. hosted on Rapidshare? I don't want to risk my main, un-backed-up computer, and my spare finally gave out even with the amount of isolation software it had heaped on, so can one of you test these files?

Google Sites needs site-based ratings
We all know (or maybe not) that each twitter profile (twitter.com/PROFILE) has a rating of its own. Personally, I think this is a good idea.
I think that Google Sites, google's new service for creating websites, should do that too.
Google Pages, the previous service, allowed sub-domains of goolepages.com.
Each sub-domain could be rated individually.
Google Sites uses folder-based sites, like sites.google.com/site/SITE_NAME
Only sites.google.com can be rated.
Could this be implemented? I am sure it would be useful.
